Duties:

Working as part of the Estates Department, the Estates & H&S Administrator will assist the Estates & H&S Managers and other Estates team members in the following duties: 

  • To assist the Estates and H&S manager on relevant Health and Safety legislation and its effects upon the College, Assist the Estates & H&S managers in their role with administration duties and tasks within the estates and the H&S department. 

  • To assist the Estates and H&S Manager in the preparation of and keep under review the College's Health and Safety Policy, Procedures & Codes of Practices. 

  • To promote through support & guidance safe working practices throughout the College. 

  • To monitor compliance with legal requirements and College policy in respect of Health and Safety. 

  • Administrate and support with Purchase orders and associated financial procurement within the Estates and H&S departments. 

Skills/Experience:

  • Experience of working on site or in an education environment with a track record of relevant financial experience.
  • Ability to work individually and effectively as part of a wider College team.
  • Good time management and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • IOSH Managing safely or willingness to work towards
  • 4 x grade C or equivalent GCSEs, Including Maths and English
  • Fork lift licence or willingness to train
